Pre Primary Wing (BALUDYAN)

This is the pre primary wing consisting of

 

  1. Kindergarten (L.K.G.)                 3+

  2. Preparatory (U.K.G)                   4+

*     Admission to Pre Primary will be made only on interview basis,

*     To develop the mental creativity and physical dexterity among the young pupils activity based curriculum has been designed amidst the well painted, decorated green environment of the classes. 

*     The Pre Primary pupils will be free from formal examinations but a system of series of internal assessment by class teachers will keep the school and parents informed about the young one’s development intellectually as well as in activities vital for understanding environment and preparing them gradually for formal studies 

*     Timing for Pre Primary are as follows :-

9.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. (summers and winters)

 

The session begins in April 2008. 

Primary/ Middle Classes (I-VIII) (SANSKAR)

Here the teachers try to imbibe in the young scholars a mark of our sanskars; values which we hold dear to our hearts. Small meaningful gestures like wishing elders by touching their feet, doing charity from pocket money etc.

Senior Section (IX-XII) (PRATISHTHA)

This section is the glory of our school as we hope they will bring laurels to SVPS at Board examination.

Computer Education

     Looking at the ever expanding usage of  computers and internet in today’s worlds access to computer laboratory has been provided to students right from pre primary, so they can be initiated to modern learning in a playful manner leading to development of information technology as an independent optional subject in classes IX X XI and XII with a departmental library comprising of subject books, manuals CDs VCDs and Encyclopedia/Encarta’s to support students preparing projects, learning to develop software and web designing in classes XI & XII.

Evaluation & Promotion

Minimum marks for promotion to next higher class shall be 33% appearance in all periodicals, terminal & final is must to continue in the school.

Minimum of 75% attendance in the class is required to appear in final examination. There shall be periodical test and terminal examinations during the academic year and marks obtained there in shall be consolidated to work out the final results. No student shall be allowed to appear for the final examination unless all school dues are paid.

A student may be debarred to go for the final examination due to unsatisfactory progress in studies, insufficient attendance of serious misconduct.
